Location
Josephine and Jackson Counties are located in the Rogue Valley in the southwestern portion of the State of Oregon. We are in the Pacific Northwest situated just north of California. Refer to the maps.
It is an area rich in natural resources and beauty, dominated by forests, mountains, rivers, creeks and lakes. The Pacific Ocean and the northern most reach of the California Redwoods are within a few hours drive to the West. The Cascade Mountains, Crater Lake, the Siskiyou Mountains, the Kalmiopsis Wildnerness Area, the Oregon Caves National Monument, California's Trinity Alps, and the Rogue, Illinois, Smith, and Klamath Rivers are all within easy reach. Outdoor recreational opportunities abound!
