Site Selection, Complete Proposals/Bid Packages
Let us help you find the perfect meeting location for your group! We will record your meeting requirements, then forward your lead by e-mail or fax the same day to a consortium of hotels and meeting facility locations in Victoria. We will then collect all of the proposals and present you with one, complete, summarized package, all within 24 hours or a time frame that you specify. This way you are not inundated with calls or having to do the work yourself. Please contact us directly or fill out our online RFP.
Customized Site Inspections
When you or your planning committee members are ready to visit Victoria B.C., let us organize a customized site itinerary just for you. We will personally take you to meet with key contacts and visit potential meeting sites, hotels, interesting off-site venues and any other components that are important for your program.
Program Components
Tourism Victoria can provide you with a variety of interesting, fun and unique ideas for Incentives, Pre & Post Tours, Partner Programs and Team Building. Call us for a great brainstorming session customized to your group’s interests. Victoria has so much to offer including golf, whale watching, traditional afternoon tea, public and private gardens, outdoor adventure, West Coast rainforests and a fantastic culinary scene. All activities can be customized for group programs. Choose from historic walking tours, gourmet picnics, cooking classes, garden tours and mushroom foraging to kayak adventures and sailing, to name only a few options. Conference Services
Whatever your meeting planning needs are we can provide you with information and put you in contact with a variety of conference service providers. We have great contacts for destination management companies, audiovisual services, caterers, theme designers, entertainers, lighting experts, gift suppliers, registration, security, speakers, transportation options and many more. Pre-Promotion, Registration and Attendance Building Materials
Tourism Victoria can provide you with a variety of complimentary material which are sure to have delegates marking the event in Victoria on their calendars long in advance. Our pre-promotion brochures and magazines are perfect for pre-meeting mail outs or handing out at the meeting one year prior to meeting in Victoria. When in Victoria, provide your delegates with vacation planners and walking maps in delegate kits or at registration tables. Order the conference shells if you would like to customize a brochure with your program details. You can use the on-line Presentation and tailor it to your needs with our Image Bank. All images can be used in pre-promotion, registration and program publications. We would be happy to send you a sales kit including examples of all our materials for your review or you can view samples of our Brochures & Materials online.
On-site Concierge Services
On-site Concierge Services are now available for your conference or convention at the Victoria Conference Centre. Our well trained and knowledgeable staff are waiting to help you and your delegates enjoy a perfect conference in our beautiful city. Tourism Victoria’s staff will be available year round at a cost of $11.00 Canadian dollars per hour. Services will be offered for a minimum of 4 consecutive hours. 30 days advance booking required.
Feature a staffed Concierge Services desk for part or all of your conference to assist your delegates:
- Choose a great restaurant within walking distance
- Supply delegates with information on activities in the city during their stay
- Purchase tickets for a full range of events and activities
- Arrange for taxi or airport services
- Book a trip to famous gardens or nature tours
- Offer helpful information and tips on the treasures of Victoria
