Safe Routes to School ResourcesBicycling to School

Parents, children, schools officials and neighborhood groups make Safe Routes to Schools programs work. Local governments, health professionals, transportation departments, law enforecement agencies and bicycle and pedestrian groups all can work together to support these programs by drawing expertise and funding from many private and public sources.

Here are some resources to help communities with Safe Routes to Schools programs. For technical assistance or additional information, contact Charlotte Claybrooke at 360-705-7302 or ClaybrC@wsdot.wa.gov.
