Christmas Trees Permits »
Looking for the perfect tree? Try the tree lot in your backyard...the Six Rivers
National Forest. You can purchase a permit for Christmas tree cutting from any
District Office. A permit is required for
each tree cut and removed from National Forest land.
Fire Permits »
Fire permits are required for some recreational activities. There may also be
fire restrictions during the the fire season. Make sure you check the requirements
before you plan your trip.
Firewood Permits »
To cut firewood for personal use on National Forest and BLM lands you must have
a Personal Use Firewood Permit. At $10.00 per cord, you can purchase a
permit for no less than two cords ($20) for each purchase and no more than ten
cords ($100) (total for year).
Road Use Permits »
Commercial Use of Forest Development Roads is regulated under the authority
of Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Regional Forester Order 98-2
prohibits commercial haul on a Forest Development Road without a permit or written
authorization.
National
Golden Passports »
If you recreate frequently on federal lands such as National
Forests, National Parks, Bureau of Land Management, or
US Fish and Wildlife Service, the better value may be
the Golden Eagle Passport. Golden Age and Golden Access
Passports are also honored at these same locations.
