Boston Harbor is a vibrant, attractive destination throughout the year. In addition to the wide range of activities and events organized by The Boston Harbor Association (TBHA), a number of other organizations host activities for the general public.

All TBHA tours and cruises are free and open to the public, but

Boston Harbor Hotel Map Collection
Talk by Alex Krieger, noted Harvard Professor of Urban Design and curator of the Norman B. Leventhal Boston Harbor Maps Collection. Talk at the Boston Harbor Hotel will be followed by tea at Café Intrigue, Boston Harbor Hotel. Free, but reservations are required and limited to the first 30 respondents. Winter HarborWalk Tour

Please join TBHA, in conjunction with WalkBoston, for an Urban Winter HarborWalk on 9 January 2007 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Meet at the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse on Fan Pier, South Boston. Participants will explore art on Fan Pier, enjoy views of the new Institute of Contemporary Art, cross the historic Northern Avenue Bridge, discover Norman Leventhal's renowned collection of Boston Harbor maps at the Boston Harbor Hotel, and end at the New England Aquarium with free hot chocolate. Boston’s waterfront is home to many examples of public art by local and national artists. Unique sculpture, paintings, displays, and interpretive signage can be found along the harbor in Boston’s six waterfront neighborhoods.
