Biography
Walter is one of the most active and accomplished practitioners in securities and complex financial litigation in the United States. His trial, advocacy and negotiating skills have benefited companies and individuals engaged in the financial, energy, technology, insurance and telecommunications industries, in matters involving securities, antitrust, contract, accounting and intellectual property issues. Walter co-chairs the firm's Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group.

Representative Experience View All- Represented over 100 officers and directors of publicly traded corporations in derivative action and shareholder litigation throughout the United States; in most cases, these matters were resolved at no cost to our clients
- Represented corporate clients throughout the United States as lead or national coordinating counsel in federal and state class action litigation, including securities litigation
- Representing a large national financial holding company and its banking subsidiary in major litigation against the United States; obtained a multi-million dollar judgment in a six-week trial before the Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.
