What is The Studio?
The Studio is the place to bring your creative projects. Get tips, learn tricks, and find help to make your ideas a reality. Consultation at The Studio works best if you make an advance reservation. Creative Support is available at select stores only.
Who works at The Studio?
The Studio is staffed by professional filmmakers, musicians, photographers, and designers. We call them Creatives. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, our Creatives are qualified to help you with your projects.
How should I prepare for my Creative Support session?
Think about the questions you have or assistance you need regarding your movie, music, photo, or design project. Make a list of the questions you would like to ask. Feel free to bring your Mac (portable) with you. If you have a desktop model, you can copy your project onto an external hard drive and bring that into the store.
What should I bring with me to the store for my Creative Support session?
Bring your Mac (portable) and AC adapter with you. Bring along any peripheral equipment (microphone, headphones, cameras, etc.) that you wish to work with. Mac computers and a limited number of peripherals are available at The Studio for customer use.
What should I do when I arrive at the store for my session?
When you arrive, head to The Studio, where you will see your name on the LCD screen. Announce yourself to one of the Creatives and take a seat at the start of the session time.
What should I expect from my Creative Support session?
During a session, you work on your creative project alongside other Apple customers, with the support of the Creatives. The Creatives divide their time among the customers in The Studio, helping you and the others in a group setting. Your session will last up to 20 minutes.
