CORTIJO LOS OLIVILLOS

The country house "Cortijo los Olivillos" lies deep in a 5000qm large estate surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape with the atmosphere of an Eden.

The three different living areas CASA SOL, CASA LUNA and CASA ESTRELLA have in each case a separate entrance, and a private terrace looking out in the direction corresponding to their name. SOL/SUN to the west, LUNA/MOON to the east and ESTRELLA/STAR to the sky (first floor).

All three houses are decorated in a very individual and personal style. For the fittings only high-quality materials were used, e.g. chestnut timber, terracotta, cotton.
The complex and beautifully tiled baths reflect well the natural splendour of the house.

Jasmine and lavender, olives, figs, walnuts, passion fruit and cherry trees as well as many flowers, give the garden its Mediterranean flair.
Many calm and peaceful places are to be found here. Hammocks under shady trees, corners with surprisingly beautiful views and the small dipping pool (2,5mx2,5m) offers the opportunity to cool down and recover. It is the ideal place for nature lovers.

In the external area there is a community bathroom with washing machine and ironing board. Comfortable garden furniture is available.
From the main road between the villages of Ferreirola and Mecina there is a 50m long untarmaced road to the house. From the parking area there is a 50m footpath up to the holiday house.

Mecina, one of the smaller villages (70 inhabitants) south of Pitres has 2 bars and there are two good restaurants.
In Pitres (10 minutes away) there are two "supermercados", a market on Friday, restaurants, a bank with ATM machines and 24 hour medical service.

Distance to the sea is 80 minutes by car, to Granada 1,5 hour. To Malaga Airport it is a 2,5 hours drive.

  hidden by a small wall).

*The Casa Luna is heated by a wood stove

CASA SOL for 1-3 persons:
*Living room/sleeping area, the double bed skilfully
  separated from the salon.
*Bathroom/WC/Arab tiled shower
*Open kitchen with 2-ring cooker
*Crystaled sitting area with sofa bed
*The terrace is on the west side of the house.
*Wood stove

CASA ESTRELLAfor 1-3 persons:
*This vacation home lies on the first floor; the terrace
  is aligned towards the south.
*1 bedroom with double bed
*1 bedroom with single bed
*Salon with fire-place and entrance to the terrace
*Kitchen with 4-ring cooker and fridge with freezer compartment
*Bathroom with shower
