Microsoft Office Specialist
Leaoni holds her Masters in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. She has over 10 years experience Training and/or Instructing and is currently completing the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (Adult Education).
Leaoni’s entrepreneurial and business background has taught her to effectively listen to and communicate with the client / student to meet their needs. Her patients and ability to express in laymen’s terms how an application program works and why, builds confidence and creates a relaxed, stress free, fun learning experience.
Chris Deakin
Macromedia Certified Instructor
Chris is a master of Flash and is a Macromedia Certified Instructor for the past 5 years in both Dreamweaver and Flash. He also teaches Fireworks and Freehand. Chris has taught at UVic, Royal Roads and has worked for clients such as IBM and Electronic Arts.
Chris teaches our Web Design Certification Program.

After graduating from San Jose State University, California in 1980, Dana spent two successful years in the dynamic and competitive “silicon valley” graphic design market, working with some of the leading studios and agencies in the southern San Francisco Bay area. In 1982, he followed his dream of living in Victoria and moved north to set up his own studio. Dahlquist-Axe Design quickly achieved success as an award-winning, creative source of design and communications for business, government and education. In 1987, Dana accepted a position at a local post-secondary school where he developed and delivered courses in design for traditional and new media. Currently, Dana is committed to the success of his students at VSBT

Cathie Walker
Cathie Walker has been working online since early 1995. Named "Queen of the Internet" by the New York Times, Cathie's strengths lie in understanding the user experience and in creating viral marketing, site stickiness, and online community. Cathie teaches Writing for the Web and other techniques to help you connect with your audience and make an impact online
Dan Adams
Microsoft Applications Instructor
Dan teaches the full range of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Project.
He is infinitely patient with novice users, can take the fustration out of using Microsoft products; and is particularly adept at showing time saving tips and techniques to the more experienced user.
Dan has over 8,000 hours of computer teaching experience and has taught an incredible range of students at various private and public education institutes in Victoria since 1994. Hundreds of his past students now out in the workplace.
Dan recently returned from 3 years in Tokyo where, as a Senior Instructor, he taught Microsoft applications, in English, to multinational professionals and executives at some of the world's most prominent corporations.
When not teaching, Dan is currently pursuing an interest in documentary film making and is having a ball with digital video editing.

A total geek! To Dave, a day without a computer in it is like a day without sunshine. He's one of the laziest guys around - he likes to teach his computer things that he can't be bothered doing himself. Despite that, he's a pretty good teacher. He specializes in web and print design applications and is a dedicated fan of open source and the Grateful Dead.

Mychal Recieved his education at the Art Institute Of Pittsburgh
in Pennsylvannia where he majored in
Digital illustration & graphic
studies. He graduated in 2004 with his Bachelors degree in specialized
technology and immediately moved to Victora BC to pursue a career
as a graphic designer. Mychal
has worked in the field of design
for 2 years and has been tutoring students on a one-on-one basis
for over 4 years and enjoys the close atmosphere and the ability
to incorporate education and hands on experience. He enjoys learning
new things along side his students and dislikes the font "papyrus",
greatly.
