Lawyers in our Tokyo office handle a variety of corporate and finance matters. We work with Japanese energy and trading companies on oil, gas, power and infrastructure projects in various countries around the world. Our lawyers in Tokyo also have extensive experience in representing U.S., European and Asian clients investing and operating in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Pacific region, as well as high-technology Asian companies accessing Western capital.

Lawyers in our Beijing and Shanghai offices are involved in projects in all regions of China and East Asia, representing project developers and financial institutions; working on inbound investments in a variety of industries by U.S., European and Asian clients; and on investments around the globe by Chinese companies. In addition to fluency in English, our lawyers in Beijing and Shanghai also offer clients in-house spoken and written Mandarin language capability (including the ability to negotiate, draft and translate Chinese language legal documents) from experienced lawyers and other staff.
