Danielle Maier is a Physician Assistant in the Functional GI & Motility Disorders Clinic, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She sees patients on her own as well as with Drs. Drossman, Ringel and Webb. She has her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) from Wake Forest School of Medicine, where she graduated with high honors. In 2004, Mrs. Maier completed intensive training in the biopsychosocial care of patients and attained her Masters degree in physician assistant studies with a focus on functional bowel disorders.
