Weddings & Celebrations was founded with the intent and desire to make your dream wedding come
true in Paradise. With that premise, I, KatRama Brooks, and my husband, Curtis McCosco, have created
a company that is about enjoying and loving the work we do connecting with couples and co-creating
their very special wedding celebration.
We are visionaries and feel it is possible to bring joy and meticulous attention to every celebration;
from a small intimate wedding on the beach to a large and elegant wedding event, from traditional
to outrageous, we endeavor to fulfill your vision of a perfect day.
We have lived on Kauai since 1989 and the Aloha spirit is something we've always carried in our
hearts. We have both traveled and lived the world over and are familiar with many cultural customs.
Therefore, we have great respect for and honor every person's preferences as to the style and tone
of ceremony they choose.
KatRama, born in Vienna, Austria, comes from an eclectic background and is versed in Judaism, Buddhism,
metaphysical principles and indigenous ways. She speaks several languages and is a nondenominational
licensed minister in Hawaii and California.
Curtis, born in Boston, Massachusetts, is a professional photographer, videographer and documentary
film maker. His style mixes traditional poses, romantic casual portraits and journalistic candid
shots resulting in photos and video that come alive with memory and vibrant energy.
Our purpose is to serve and give our very personal attention as we look after all the necessary
details to make your most important day a dream wedding celebration you will always cherish as one
of your life's most memorable events.
