The
National Oceanographic Data Center is located in Silver Spring, Maryland,
just north of Washington, D.C. The NODC is housed in Silver Spring Metro
Center 3 (SSMC3), the centerpiece of the NOAA complex of four buildings
that face East-West Highway.
The Office of the Director and three of the five NODC Divisions are
on the 4th floor of SSMC3. The NOAA Central Library (NODC Library and Information
Services Division) is located on the 2nd floor, and the National Coastal
Data Development Center (NCDDC) is located in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.
