Alignment Consulting
www.AlignmentConsulting.org

Category: Informational

When we met our client, she was just laying out her plans for a new consulting business. She asked us to deliver "a beautiful visual design and a few pages of fairly static information."

We worked with Liza to develop an understanding of her artistic preferences, the best choices for the background images, and to refine her text content. Upon launching the site, the complements and praise for the design was significant and pleasing.

To support Opaka's marketing efforts, GreyBeard prepared this print ad for placement in California Fly Fisher magazine.

As many of our projects begin, this new enterprise needed a logo. After preparing a selection of alternatives, the accepted logo was integrated into a site design.

Next, we implemented shopping with Product Cart from Early Impact, the robust shopping cart software that allows us to deliver reliable and affordable online stores that addresses most any requirements one might request.

This new site is a total rebuild of our first e-commerce site. It features online management of recipes, events calendar and all aspects of the store.
Primo's Gourmet Food Company

Category: E-Commerce, Database (Dynamic Content)

Primo's sells its products from booths at juried art festivals, and other events where the public may sample a selection of gourmet food offerings. Their Web site provides a strong secondary income source, allowing customers to make post-show purchases.

Count Every Vote

Category: Informational, Database (Dynamic Content)

The Campaign to Re-elect US Congressman Rush Holt sponsored the development of this site. Having sponsored HR2239 (which would require that all electronic voting machines to feature an auditable paper trail) which was blocked from passage in time for the Nov 2 General Election, Congressman Holt recognized the need to communicate methods by which voters could inform themselves as to the risks of paperless e-voting.

The site is based on Greybeard’s Content Management System, and incorporates a custom online donation tool. The administrative suite of tools are quite robust.

Verified Voting
216.82.93.233

Category: Informational, Database (Dynamic Content)

Paperless electronic voting is a threat to the democracy of the United States. The issue is that votes are stored directly to memory, there is no secondary audit trail, and votes cannot be recounted. Standards for these systems have not been established, and those agencies responsible for such standards were selected a year past when they were supposed to get started, and subsequently under-funded (or in the case of NIST, de-funded.) It gets worse: nobody but vendor staff inspects the source code! Fact: machines manufactured by 3 major vendors will soon count the majority of America's votes. Comfortable with that? I'm not!
