3D Modeling is the process of building an unambiguous three-dimensional representation of a given part, product or object. It is used for a variety of purposes such as visualization, parametric drawing, reverse engineering, 3D analysis and finite element analysis. A parametric solid model can be generated from either a prototype, a drawing or an arbitrary set of parameters.
