Enabling Multiple Platform Support for a Leading Digital Rights Management Solution Provider

AppLabs has performed compatibility testing for a digital rights management solution where our customer’s product was tested across 50+ different configurations. Each configuration included a combination of operating system, browser version and different content file types such as Microsoft Word, PDF, etc. The testing ranged from testing on all versions of Windows and Mac operating systems. The focus of browser compatibility testing was on different versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator for Windows and different versions of Internet Explorer and Safari for Mac. The testing was not limited to the base versions of the OS or browser but was also performed on all the service packs that were available. AppLabs also developed a monitoring program where we monitored updates for supported applications that were to be tested.
