Angthon Marine Park

The Angthon Marine Park is a beautiful collection of islands off the west coast of Samui which is only accessible via speedboat. It is a protected National Park which means that it is a pristine habitat and perfect for snorkelling, kayaking, or just laying on the beach. In the center of the the park is the beautiful Emerald Lake, whose green waters give the lake its name. It's possible to hike up to the top of the massive bowl which contains the lake and take in the incredible beauty of the surroundings.

If you're interested in going, we can arrange a trip for you right from the Rocky's reception. The bus comes at 7 am to pick you up and whisks you off to the pier, where you'll board the speedboat. From there it's just over an hour to the marine park for a day of snorkelling and kayaking. Lunch is provided, as is your return to the hotel.

Ko Pangnan and the Full Moon Party

Every month, right around the time of the full moon, launches the full moon party on Ko Pangnan, Ko Samui's closest neighbor. Located on a pristine white beach named Had Rin, the full moon party is a huge gathering of people of all ages to laugh, dance, and party the night away. The action begins around 6-7 pm the night of the full moon and doesn't stop until well into the following day.

We have a boat service from Rocky's to the full moon party which picks you up from the hotel and brings you back when you're ready to get some rest. Please ask us for more details if you're interested in going.

Ko Pangnan is also a nice place to go anytime. It is much quieter than Samui and has some beautiful areas. We can also arrange day trips for you. Enquire at the office for details.

Ko Tan Snorkelling or Fishing Trips

Ko Tan is a beautiful, relatively uninhabited, island just to the south of Ko Samui, and happens to be one of the best fishing and snorkelling spots on Koh Samui. At Rocky's, we can arrange private boat trips on a Thai long-tail boat for families or groups of friends. Lunch and transportation to and from the boat are provided. Drinks are available on the boat.

Koh Tao Snorkelling Day Trips

Koh Tao is best known for its excellent scuba diving, however it is also a perfect place for snorkelling. Excursions leave every day from the hotel at 7am, just let us know the night before if you're interested in going. The trip takes only about an hour and a half on a high speed catamaran and you spend the day snorkelling in the beautiful waters of Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan. Lunch is provided as are movies on the boat.
