Cost for one student is $275 and $325 for two. Fly Fishing 101 - A two day school that takes our Fly Fishing 101 School to the next level by reinforcing . Cost for one student is $420 and $570 for two. Class on the River - An advanced course where we spend the first day reviewing fundamentals, targeting your specific needs, and on the second day we continue the schooling with a river float trip. Cost for one or two is $605. This informative two-day school will take you through an in-depth study of fly fishing basics. Classes run from 9:00AM to 5:00PM both days and include lunch, tackle and an afternoon of fly fishing. Cost for one student is $370 and $470 for two. Group classes are limited to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 students.
Dry Fly Techniques - 11: 00AM to 3:00PM. April 1 - April 15 These fishing clinics target specific tactics such as tandem rigging, casting weight and indicators, presentation, mending and line management. Limited to 6. Cost per person is $80. Turn your passion into income! This five day school will expose you to opportunities for guiding from Pennsylvania to Alaska. A typical day of training goes from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. The course will cover fly casting, knot tying and rigging, entomology, safety, drift boat trailering and plenty of time behind the oars practicing rowing and guiding techniques, which will include client interaction. A shore lunch and refreshments will be provided each day. Also included is a CPR/First Aid certification and an option (at an additional cost) for application to the Pennsylvania Guide Program, which includes a Coast Guard Approved Boaters Safety Course. Accommodations are extra. This season we will offer three schools. Class is limited to people and the cost per person is $900.
Because of the growing popularity of fishing from these types of boats, and requests for a class to learn how to use them, we are know offering this two day clinic. Day one starts in our classrooms with illustrated presentations on oaring, safety and gear. Then off to the lake were you will be taken through basic strokes and maneuvers. The second day will be spent on The Lehigh River were you will be taught back oaring, anchoring, crossing currents and maneuvering through whitewater. Lunch, gear and shuttle are included. Class is limited. Cost with a boat rental is $450, without boat rental is $390.

Our guides log countless hours each season on this river on foot and by boat uncovering it's secrets and enjoying an experience that rivals famous rivers of the American West. The Lehigh is home to a healthy population of stocked and wild trout and excellent hatches from Late April through Mid June. Full day float with with shore lunch. Cost for one or two anglers is $245 The Upper D is home to a huge population of large, finicky trout and the immense population of aquatic insects that they feed upon. It's no secret that these cunning critters will put all of your angling skills to the test but many anglers enjoy the challenge while drifting the serene and scenic Delaware River under the watchful eye of bald eagles perched in the trees above. Two day float with a shore lunch both days. Cost for one or two anglers is $650 plus accomodations. The Susky has had it's share of problems over the past few years but the large, feisty population of 4-5" smallies we encountered in 2006 has us hopefull for a comeback. Stay tuned throughout the year for updates on the Susky. A full day with a shore lunch for one or two angler is $335. Difficult fishing on the Susquehanna in past years had us fishing several warm water impoundments, a few that are managed for Trophy Bass, and we have decided to share the fun. Fly fishing lakes and ponds in properly outfitted boats for bass, walleye, muskies, pike , and pickerel is a blast and a great alternative to the Susquehanna or when the trout fishing slows down. Fun and prizes! Benefits trout stocking in the Little Schuylkill. This year the One Fly will be held on April 7. For those unfamiliar with the One Fly it's very simple, teams of two anglers fish two beats on the river for a set amount of time trying to catch as many fish as possible without losing their flies. Each angler chooses only one fly Sign-in 7:00AM. Registration requires a Donation $25 per angler. Stop in the New Ringgold shop to pre-register for this popular event! Whether you are outdoor enthusiast, photographer or fly fisherman, kayaking is great way to get up close and personal with nature. Our two kayak touring school starts in a classroom with illustrated presentations on safety, strokes and gear. Then off to the lake were you will be taken through all these basics including entry/exit & flat water techniques. We will spend the second day drifting down a gentle river where you will be schooled on moving water techniques. School includes lunch, gear and shuttle.
Starting in September 2007 we are putting together a series of Gun Dog training clinics designed for the hunter and the Hunt Test enthusiast. These clinics will be instructed by some of the best trainers in the sport, with experience in working gun dogs, Field Trials and Hunt Tests and will focus not only on dog training but also on dog handling skills. Join us for a week of some of the finest fly fishing in the American West as we take in the breathtaking scenery of the Gallatin River (which boasts one of the highest populations of trout in the US), drift down the Yellowstone River throwing large hopper patterns to big fish and explore the endless riffles of the Madison River. Your hosts Joe DeMarkis and Lee Hartman have fished this area for 11 seasons and will lead excursions to different waters throughout the week. This adventure includes a float trip, all meals, ground transportation in Montana and accommodations at the Trout Club with private access to the Gallatin River. This year's trip is July 28 to August 4. Cost is $1895 per person. Our 10th year and it keeps getting better. This Alaskan Adventure is based at Captain Charlie Summervilles lodge on the Alagnak River with amenities to include comfortable cabins with electric, hot showers and indoor modern bathrooms.
