ALASKA MAY / JUNE / JULY
KENAI RIVER , COOK INLET
We will fish for King Salmon on the Kenai and Halibut in Cook Inlet and Katchamak Bay. The Kenai River is located Southwest of Anchorage, Alaska on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula and has the reputation of being the most famous sport fishing destination in Alaska. The Kenai's glacial turquoise waters host four Salmon species, resident and sea-run Dolly Varden, and trophy Rainbow Trout, creating a sport anglers paradise of hich there is no equal. The river flows through the natural wonder known as the Kenai Peninsula and offers scenery of snow capped mountain ranges, an abundance of wildlife, including moose, bald eagles, brown bear and caribou and enjoys one of the mildest climates in Alaska.
KENAI RIVER FISH
These giant King's, (Chinooks) Salmon are the most sought after species in the river and the Kenai hosts the largest King's on the planet. The Kenai King's average 30 -50 Lbs. with several each season reaching 70-80 Lbs. and reaching lengths of nearly 5 feet. The current sport fishing world record King Salmon, 97 Lbs. 4 oz. was caught on the Kenai by local angler Les Anderson. Anglers will travel from all over the world for the chance to "hook-up" with these monster Chinooks. Although the powerful King's are the main attraction on the river, three other salmon species - Silver (coho), Sockeye (Red) and Pink (humpy) Salmon are available in extraordinary abundance as well as large Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden. All King Salmon tackle for guided fishing will be provided, but be sure to bring your light gear for bank fishing.

We will assist you in arrangements for mounting of your trophy catch by a top quality local taxidermist.
LODGING
