Hoyo de Monterey cigar brand ("valley of Monterrey") was established by Jose Gener in a particularly fertile
site in Vuelta Abajo, which had been farmed by Gener at least five years before registering his mark in 1865.
Although it keeps its traditional packaging, Hoyo de Monterey brand has passed through deep changes.
Hoyo de Monterey cigars can be considered the best new generation cigars, more pliable, with great draw
and excellent burning properties. It has an appropriate fragrance and flavor, with no excess of light tobacco
in blend. Almost all sizes are packed in special sliding cases.
