| Our lenses are intended soley as a fashionable item. In no way do EyesBright lenses alter defective vision. If you are in any doubt as to whether it is safe to use your lenses, please take them out. It is strongly recommended that users of coloured contact lenses be over the age of 16. Whilst there is no age restriction on purchasers, younger children's eyes are more susceptible to damage. |

| Handling of EyesBright lenses |
|
Check the packaging of your new lenses. If any sign of tampering or damage is noted, do not use. Always thoroughly wash, rinse and dry your hands before handling your lenses. Take care to ensure the lenses are not inside out and that the coloured side is away from your eyes. Rinse lenses with fresh solution before inserting. Do not insert a lens it if appears damaged.
When removing your lenses ensure that your hands are completely dry. Blink fully several times, then when looking upwards, slide the lens down onto the white part of your eye and remove the lens by gently pinching it between your thumb and index finger.
If necessary, hold your eyelids open using your free hand. Occasionally a lens may decentre on your eye. In this instance close your eye, then gently massage your eyelid until the lens returns to its correct position. |

| Care for your lenses |
|
Proper care of your contact lenses is essential. Always follow exactly the instructions for your lens care system. Disinfect your lenses each time they are removed to destroy harmful bacteria and to ensure safe, comfortable contact lens wear.
Do NOT use solutions that are designed only for hard or rigid gas permeable lenses. |

| Always remember the following: |

|
Wash, rinse and dry your hands before handling your lenses.
Only wear your lenses when you are AWAKE, they do not transmit enough oxygen to the cornea when you are asleep.
Never store lenses overnight in saline since it has no disinfecting ability and will NOT protect your lenses from germs and you from possible infection.
Never share your lenses with another person as this can spread disease and infection.
Never reuse solution
Never use solutions beyond their expiry date.
Never bring lenses or your lens case into contact with saliva, tap water or home made saline solutions or anything other than those products specifically designed for soft lenses.
After using your lens case, rinse thoroughly with sterile saline or your recommended rinsing solution and allow to air dry. The contact lens case should be replaced each time you replace your lenses.
If lenses have not been worn for a few days, follow the instructions given for your contact lens care regimen and if advised, clean and disinfect your lenses again prior to wear.
If you are suffering from any eye problems consult a contact lens practitioner before wearing contact lenses.
If a lens is irritating, remove it and check for dirt or damage.
If there is dirt on the lens it can be rinsed with the storage solution. Some medications, including the contraceptive pill, can reduce your tolerance to contact lenses. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
