Aging With Dinity

The non-profit organization that created the popular Five Wishes advance directive introduces a new pediatric document called My Wishes.  Developed by child life professionals, and available nationally beginning May 2006, My Wishes helps children communicate how they want to be treated if they become very sick.

My Wishes is a simple booklet that helps a child express:

How I want people to treat me.

How comfortable I want to be.

What I want my loved ones to know.

What I want my doctors and nurses to know.
