| Moulin des Chauteix is an old watermill not far from the small village of St Gervais D'Auvergne which is situated in the Auvergne region of central France. Are you looking for a great holiday at this unique place? That is possible!! We have two gites, the millers house which is situated opposite the mill and is suitable for a maximum of four people, or rent part of the mill which is a lot bigger and sleeps up to 7 people. |

| The forge sleeps up to 9 people. We have 5 bedrooms (4 double/twin and 1 large single), 3 en suite shower rooms and 1 communal bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has all major appliances, such as cooker, large fridge and separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and a breakfast bar. The spacious dining room seats 12 people and has an wood-burning fire, exposed beams and a cd player. The main salon has a television, DVD (family DVD's available Free of Charge) and a playstation, with selection of games available. There is also a comfortable double sofa-bed, if required. French doors lead to the terrace, where you have magnificent views of the Mont Dore and Cantal mountain ranges. There is also a second lounge set aside for reading and relaxation.
The pretty courtyard garden has an area with table and chairs for summer dining and a barbeque. The round 15ft swimming pool is sunken into the patio and is fenced with lockable gate to restrict access to toddlers. Sun loungers are available. We also have a games room with a large selection of indoor and outdoor activities and games and a full-sized table-tennis table. La Forge also has a private car park and a summer meadow, where you are welcome to visit our pet goats or play football or badminton. Why not bring a picnic and simply sit and watch the world go by as you lay in the warmth of the summer sun.
All of our holiday groups receive a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, wine, bread and local cheese. All bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided, and there are options for cleaning services, pet and baby sitting services, as well as the unique La Forge Holidays guided walks, as we are surrounded by stunning forest and mountain walks |

| The Gite
The Gîte was a former ecurie and retains many of it’s original features; the beautiful oak beams and relaxing atmosphere make this a cosy place to unwind in the evening.The kitchen is well equipped with:
Fridge/ice box, Microwave, Toaster, Radio/CD player, Ironing facilities, Electric fan, The large shower room has a washing machine and clothes airier
The lounge has board games, books & local information leaflets. A TV/video player can also be supplied.
There is a fenced garden overlooking the meadow with BBQ and outdoor eating facilities
The accommodation comprises of lounge/ dining area, kitchen, shower room and toilet. Bedrooms up-stairs.
