The dis-assembly stage of the process guarantees that every part and piece (including screws, nuts, bolts, plastic pieces, etc.) will be handled and inspected. Non functioning parts are discarded and parts inventories are supplemented with new hardware, so that when the product is re-built, every piece will either be an inspected, fully functioning used part, or a new part. Quality control is done at the department level for each stage of the re-manufacturing process.
