| U.S. Diplomacy CenterMission: To increase awareness of diplomacy and the work of the Department of State through innovative exhibits and programs that inspire future leaders to become involved.
Exhibits: With a virtual Passport to Diplomacy, visitors discover how today's diplomats keep pace in a fast changing world, explore America's diplomatic heritage, and learn how diplomacy affects them every day. Using innovative technology, visitors enter the world of diplomacy, complete a Mission and match skills with history's great negotiators in a virtual diplomacy theater. Visitors go behind the scenes at an embassy, travel the globe with the Secretary of State on a digital world map and join the ranks of citizen Ambassadors. Education Programs: The Diplomacy Center's education and outreach programs provide future leaders the tools to compete in a fast changing world. Students learn about the global economy, conflict resolution and how foreign policy affects them every day. Traveling Conferences and Symposia: The Diplomacy Center invites diplomatic scholars and practitioners to discuss trends and ideas in the new Department of State Conference Center. Diplomacy Center conferences and symposia present diplomatic solutions to today's pressing problems and prepare future leaders for careers in foreign affairs.
