American Hospice Foundation
The American Hospice Foundation is the voice of those who face life-limiting illness and significant loss.

Americans for Better Care of the Dying (ABCD)
A coalition of citizens and professionals dedicated to social, professional, and policy reform aimed at improving the care system for seriously ill patients and their families.

Caring Connections
A consumer-oriented site sponsored by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Provides a variety of free resources on topics including: advance care planning, caregiving, pain, financial issues, hospice and palliative care, and grief and loss.

Hospice Net
Hospice Net provides information and support to patients and families facing life-threatening illnesses.

Life's End Institute: Missoula Demonstration Project (MDP)
The MDP is working to improve the quality of life for dying people and their families. Since 1996, the project has combined community-based action with extensive research on living with life-limiting illness, dying, death, caregiving and grief in Missoula, MT.

The National Pain Foundation
The non-profit National Pain foundation was founded in 1998 to support patients in pain, as well as families and practitioners with peer-reviewed information. This site serves as an on-line educational tool and community resource.
