Stephen has served as CEO of MAXAMINE since its inception, extending the
company office and client base from Asia Pacific to North
America and Europe. He has also successfully established working
relationships with leading companies such as Sun, EDS and
Intel. Prior to MAXAMINE he had extensive global experience
- working as a research leader in the study of geospatial
information systems at the University of Adelaide (GISCA)
and conducting research in Japan (GSI Japan) and the USA (University
of Texas). During these extensive travels he has constantly
assessed international technologies and their markets. He
is a noted expert in the field of visualization and information
dissemination using Internet technologies. He has published
over 40 research papers on the topic and has received one
international award (Japanese Government) plus six national
and three state scientific awards. He was awarded the Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology, Communications,
and E-Commerce Life Sciences in 2003.
Perry Kamel leads worldwide strategy and operations for MAXAMINE.
He joined MAXAMINE in early 2006 after building a successful track record helping
innovative organizations such as Siemens´ Next-Generation Carrier Networks
unit and CIENA grow and achieve dominant market positions in their industries.
He was an innovator in the late 1990s as founder and CEO of BroadPoint Communications,
a pioneer in the area of interactive multimedia and sponsored communication services,
with several patents to his credit. Perry also was an executive with MCI Communications,
a consultant with McKinsey & Company and a battle-proven officer in the United States Navy.
Most recently, he independently consulted with leading Fortune 500 companies and industry
associations on topics ranging from business transformation and acquisition strategy to
public policy. He holds a bachelor´s and master´s degree in electrical engineering
from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from
The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
Over the past three years, Rick has spearheaded Maxamine´s sales team in building
a client roster featuring a number of top-flight organizations, and has developed
several key strategic partnerships while driving Maxamine´s accelerating growth.
Prior to joining Maxamine, Rick was a sales executive for FutureLink, as well as a
top performer at Xerox Corporation. Prior to that, Rick served with distinction as
an Armor officer in the United States Army. Rick has a Bachelors of Science degree
from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters in Business
Administration from Southern Illinois University. Rick carries his high-scoring goal
orientation into his concurrent role as the most successful hockey coach in Naval
Academy history. Rick resides in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, where he and his wife
are actively involved in the community while keeping up with their four beautiful
children.
Stephen has developed the non-USA Markets for MAXAMINE and built prominent reseller relationships since 2001. Specifically he has grown MAXAMINE profitably into Australia and New Zealand, and the South and North Asian markets. He has headed up MAXAMINE´s recent explosion into Europe and the successful establishment of tier one clients and partners in the UK, the Netherlands and Italy. Prior to MAXAMINE, Stephen held prominent state and national management roles for several large IT, application development and engineering services companies.
Peter brings sixteen years of experience across many disciplines of computer information systems development. Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and is responsible for the development and architecting of the MAXAMINE product range. He leads MAXAMINE´s highly skilled technical team, in the development of MAXAMINE´s multi-platform product suite targeting all levels of companies, from SOHO to enterprise.
Debbie´s experience spans the energy, telecommunications, and Internet industries, and includes both customer-facing and supplier-facing activities. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Business Management Degree from Le Tourneau University. She has worked with small and large companies to provide marketing and strategic direction in their adoption of the Web as a business asset.
As Financial Controller of MAXAMINE, Grant is responsible for all the finance, accounting and administrative functions of the company. Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy and has been an Accountant for 20 years and a CPA since 1994. Grant has extensive experience in the areas of financial and management accounting, risk management and internal audit, across various industries including banking & finance, transport services, business services and government.
