PASO ROBLES ZINFANDEL FESTIVAL MARQUEE EVENT - TICKETS ON SALE NOW.
Tickets are now on sale for the 15th annual Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival, a celebration of California's heritage variety and the first variety to bring acclaim to Paso Robles Wine Country. The three-day Zinfandel Festival weekend takes place March 16, 17 and 18, 2007, with a marquee event Saturday, March 17 at the Paso Robles Events Center in Paso Robles, California.
Tickets will be available online until 12 noon on Friday, March 16. After that time, please call the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance office at 800-549-WINE to purchase tickets or confirm availability. Tickets purchased in advance from today forward will be available at will call only.
THE WEEKEND
More than 90 wineries will host an array of special events throughout Paso Robles Wine Country during the Zinfandel Festival weekend. Winemaker dinners, food pairings, seminars, open houses and special tastings are just a few of the activities in store. Live Auction 5-7 P.M. - Grand Tasting and Silent Auction 7-10 P.M.

Zinfandel producers and enthusiasts come together for an evening of wine, food and celebration of California’s heritage variety. The evening is made up of two events, a live auction and a Zinfandel Grand Tasting with silent auction. A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s activities will be donated to causes benefiting health and education for the vineyard worker population in the local community. This event sold out last year and we strongly encourage advance ticket purchase.
LIVE AUCTION
The live auction includes specialty lifestyle, art and wine packages available only at this auction. The live auction is the only opportunity to taste and purchase the 2007 collaborative Zinfandel Blend created with world-class Zinfandel from a host of Paso Robles wineries. The final lot of the evening will be the official artwork of the 2007 Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival.
GRAND TASTING & SILENT AUCTION
The evening will be topped off with a Grand Tasting featuring Zinfandel from more than 40 area wineries. Zin-friendly hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction will accompany, featuring a wide variety of wine and lifestyle packages.
