More than 300 St. Helena residents gathered Monday at the cemetery for a Memorial Day service to honor American military veterans who have died defending America.
“It is not necessary to understand why we go into conflict,” said St. Helena Catholic Church Deacon Bob Little, who led the crowd in prayer. “It is only necessary to understand the passion of those who fight in conflict that we might be in this beautiful valley and in thousands of places across the United States like this.” [Full Story]
