The Academy Tracks Your CE Credits
The AGD is the general dentist's primary provider of continuing education (CE) course credit recording. As a member of the Academy, we record all of your course credits you submit to us. We'll keep track of all of the courses you take and the credits you earn.

CE Transcripts on Demand
Your transcript is always available via the Academy Web site, so you can print a copy whenever you need it. Copies of your transcript are also available upon request at no charge (click "Obtain a copy of your transcript" to the right).

Your CE transcript can help you in a number of ways. Most states and provinces accept the Academy CE transcripts when it comes time to apply for re-licensure. You can also chart your progress toward the Academy's prestigious Fellowship and Mastership awards.

Reporting Your Credits
Attendance at CE courses should be reported to the Academy within two weeks of completing the course. Some program providers will submit attendance information directly to the Academy, but you should always check your transcript to make sure it's up to date and accurate. Members are responsible for assuring that information is reported. All submitted course credits are recorded in your member record. We recommend that you keep a copy of attendance verification for your records.
