Voice Your Opinion: When deciding where to take your continuing education (CE), how important is it to you that a CE provider has PACE (the AGD’s Program Approval for Continuing Education) approval?

The AGD wants to ensure that AGD members are receiving important and timely information that they can use. For this reason, we need your feedback about your continuing education (CE). Your feedback will help us to serve you better.

We'll be posting a new survey online each month to get regular feedback from all AGD members. Each survey will be brief and typically less than 10 questions. Click here to take the Survey.

AGD response to AAP Guidelines
If you are an AGD member, please check your mail and e-mail! Why? Because on Tues., Jan. 22, 2007, the AGD sent it's General Guidelines for Referring Dental Patients to Specialists and Other Settings for Care, adopted in 1990 and revised in October 2006, to more than 164,500 dentists. (Non-AGD members received the guidelines via regular mail.) These guidelines are based in large part on the American Dental Association's (ADA) Code of Ethics and reflect the ADA's emphasis that referrals should be based on the education, training, interest and experience of the dentist and unique needs of the patient. To learn more about the AGD's guidelines or the American Academy of Periodontology's Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Periodontal Diseases, Find out more.
