Nursing Practice Education and Research Welcome to the home page for the Division of Nursing Practice Education and Research at University of North Carolina Hospitals! The programs offered by Nursing Practice, Education, and Research play a vital role in assisting the new nurse employee transitioning to the work environment as well as offering a wide variety of learning opportunities to meet the needs of the seasoned nurse. Continuing Education Programs are offered at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education throughout the year.
