There aren't many cities in the world that can boast of having three excellent ski hills within a 30 minute drive of the downtown PLUS a world class ski resort only 2 hours away.  The mountains on Vancouver's north shore are Cypress Mountain, Grouse Mountain and Mount Seymour.  Whistler Blackcomb is located 2 hours to the north.

Ski Tour

From any of Vancouver's three ski hills, incredible views of the Vancouver skyline can be enjoyed.  Daytime and evening skiing is available at all three ski hills.  Evening skiing is particularly enjoyable as the lights of Vancouver are incredible!  The Vancouver ski season normally begins on December 1st. and ends at the end of March.
