This training is presented by our Home Based Agent Training Coordinator, as well as by members of our office staff and management. In addition, you will also receive training directly from representatives of the top cruise lines. This is experience you simply cannot get through on-line training sessions

What makes our agency program different?

We support our home-based agents with a dedicated Customer Concierge Center. This department handles everything after the sale that you do not have time to handle personally. This includes mailing of invoices, taking of final payments, documentation and handling any phone calls after the sale. This will enable you to focus your time and energy on selling. As a result of this, you can reach sales plateaus that other cruise agents can't.

What is required of a Home Based Agent?

Potential Home Based Agents should be ambitious, self-motivated, and outgoing. Proven sales skills are a plus as well as past cruise experience, but are not required. We will teach you the sales skills necessary to sell cruises and you will have the opportunity to cruise at a reduced rate after meeting your initial sales goal. You will be required to have a computer with Windows XP Professional or 2000 Professional as an operating system and the ability to view Microsoft Word and Excel files, Internet access, a dedicated phone line with toll free access, and the ability to receive fax messages. Agents affiliated with Abracadabra are primarily responsible for building their own marketing plan, advertising, and obtaining their own leads. We will share some of the marketing ideas successfully used by Abracadabra that have made our agency one of the leaders in the cruise booking industry.

What is the compensation for Home Based Agents?

Dependent upon your sales skills and motivation, you may qualify in the future for client leads which we receive from those visiting our website, as well as those calling into our offices in Marietta direct. Earning potential is based on your ability to close sales and maintain exceptional follow-up skills. Our agents are known for developing a personal relationship with their clients, resulting in a tremendous amount of repeat and referral clients. This is where your earning potential is increased exponentially.

What we can offer you?

Abracadabra’s CAMPUS CRUISE Training Program and CAMPUS CRUISE PLUS Training and Experience will be offered in March, June, September, and December. See dates and locations on this site!! You will receive a six day intensive course on cruise sales instructed by our experienced staff and management. You will also receive training directly from various sales representatives of the top cruise lines.

Before Cruise School you will be given information for class preparation. We will provide you with worksheets, brochures and training manuals. There will be a test at the end of class and it will be necessary to earn 90% or better to be affiliated with Abracadabra! Cruises. Past experience and classes have shown that as long as you complete your pre-Cruise School worksheets and work diligently in class, you should have no difficulty passing the exam. However, our training is very intensive and requires a serious student to complete and succeed. All training materials are yours and will assist you when you return to your home office. Upon successful completion of cruise school, you will be given a graduation certificate. Upon successful completion of CAMPUS CRUISE, you will have the support of a mentor to help guide you, as well as our World Class Management and Support Staff.
