It seems that plenty of websites now tell you not to pay
up front to sell your timeshare. In most instances this
is good advice.
Where do you draw the line at up front fees?
Basically any "good" advertising company
has to charge something for their service in order
to stay in business. Technology costs money, and to
maintain it is also expensive. There has to be a reasonable
up front fee out there somewhere?
Take for instance the classifieds in your local newspaper. They
are full of automobiles, boats, campers and other items all worth
thousands of dollars just like a timeshare.
Every classified advertisement in a newspaper is paid for up
front by the seller. The fee is usually 75 or 100 dollars for
one month in the classifieds. As consumers we pay this fee because
we feel it's reasonable as opposed to selling these items on our
own with flyers, and signs. It's a fair deal to sell your automobile
for 75 dollars in the classifieds.
Now what if that same classified advertisement cost 400 to 500
dollars. Would it be worth it then? Is that still a fair price
to pay upfront?
Some companies charge $699 and more to sell one timeshare. They
promise to advertise it until it sells, and they do, but they
still have your $699.
We feel that our fee
of $100 US for 1 year - to sell or rent your timeshare is a fair
deal. That fee provides you with 100% access to your advertisers
control panel, up to 5 advertisements on our network
of resale websites, and a website that is not only search
engine friendly, it receives thousands of timeshare visitors daily
as well. We also provide 1 full year in which to sell, not just
a few short months.
Look around and see for yourself what type of deals are out there.
Always protect yourself by asking one simple question before you
pay...Is it worth it?
