Uncle Ducky II 

The Uncle Ducky II is a 29' Luhrs Sportfisherman with a 12' beam. She is equipped with two Chrysler 318 V-8 engines. Her electronics include: radar for navigating through fog and night operations, dual GPS nav systems, marine radio, cellphone, auto-pilot, pictorial map system, dual SONAR units, and underwater temperature and current sensing unit. She is inspected by the DNR bi-annually for structural, electrical and powerplant integrity along with the required safety equipment as per Coast Guard and State of Michigan regulations. She also has a complete restroom, hot water, cabin heater, refrigerator, and V-berths. The passenger capacity is 6 persons with a crew of 2. Of course, all fishing equipment is supplied. The Uncle Ducky II is based out of Marquette.

Uncle Ducky III

The Uncle Ducky III, based out of Big Bay, is a 26' Penn Yan Twin Engine Sportfisherman . Her electronics include: radar, GPS, Loran,auto-pilot, marine radio cellphone, pictorial nav system, and sonar fish finder unit. She is inspected by the DNR bi-annually for structural, electrical and powerplant integrity along with the required safety equipment as per Coast Guard and State of Michigan regulations. She is equipped with a restroom, cabin heater, refrigerator, and V-berths. All fishing equipment is supplied. The Uncle Ducky III is certified for 6 passengers and 2 crew.

Uncle Ducky IV

The Uncle Ducky IV -(1999)- Trailered, 17' Crestliner with 50 HP Johnson electric trolling motor.  Inland lakes, limited Great Lakes.  No restroom, pedestal seats, 1-3 passengers.  

Uncle Ducky V

The Uncle Ducky V -(2001)- Trailered, 20' Crestliner with 175 HP Johnson 9.9 trolling motor - 24 volt electric motor.  Great Lakes and inland lakes. No restroom. Pedestal seats, top and weather protection 1-5 passengers.   

Guides
 
Our captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard after they obtain a minimum of one year (365 days) on the water, and pass an extensive examination on boating regulations including safety, weather, navigation, first aid and CPR. 
 
Bill Duckwall

Owner of Uncle Ducky Charters.  U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain. Expert fisherman, navigation instructor, manages operations, sales, and marketing.
Retired Airline Pilot with over 20,000 hours in the air. . Grew up around boats and the water. Very little time on land. Always on the water or in the air.

John Tomczyk

Been fishing all of his life. U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain. Expert fisherman and just all around great guy to spend a day on the water with. Graduate of NMU's Outdoor Recreation program. Started with us as a mate prior to obtaining his Capt's license. Fishes Great Lakes and Inland Waters.                                                            Picture coming

Dave Raikko- Retired

U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Involved in sportfishing industry for over 20 years. His dedication and assistance was greatly responsible for our growth and popularity! Just enjoys fishing for himself finally these days.

Boyd Nutting - Retired

U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain.  Year round fishing guide.  In the winter time Boyd fishes charters out of Florida and is a successful tournament fisherman out of Lake Okeechobee, Fla. Retired in 2006 after after 30 years in the Sportfishing Industry.
