So the contest has now ended and we have our five winners in this contest. I would like to congratulate all of you with a very good job and I hope I will see at least some of you at webmaster forums around the web.

It's not that obvious who are working on this domain since our names are not mentioned anywhere (except mine in the last post). My name is Fredrik Eriksson and I'm the one who have written the posts in this blog, even if the author was marked as "(e) Globalwarming Awareness2007". You might have seen me around a few webmaster forums as FredrikMH which I usually use as nickname.

Next Tuesday the contest will end and the winner will be selected. Since we have lost the first position in Google, I can just hope that we keep our position in the contest. I think we deserve to be in the top 3 :) But when I entered this content I never thought that this domain would end up holding the first position in Google for over two months and having a chance to win anything at all. So even if we go out of this contest with nothing (except knowledge), it is better than I first expected.

I wouldn't call it an algorithm update because of their lousy results for Globalwarming Awareness2007 but at least something has changed. First of all I would like to mention that Yahoo's SERP is much more stable than msn's. If we take a look at the leader board for the last week and compare it to the current one, we will almost see a whole different list. The Globalwarming Awareness2007 contest will end as lottery and I will explain why.

So it's now actually less than one month until the end of this contest. What I think is funny is that there are a few competitors (including this site) that are pretty stable in the top. Then we have others that looked like they were going to win this competition a couple of weeks ago but now they are barely in top 10. So don't give up because a lot can happen in just a few days.

We have now held the first position in Google for awhile and doubt that we will lose that position. The work now lies upon us to reach the stars and get a good ranking in Yahoo and Msn. And I believe I have found a weakness in Msn but I'm not sure yet. We have slowly getting a better position in Msn for Globalwarming Awareness2007 while using this technique but it could be anything effecting our ranks so I guess I will have to continue and see how it goes.

It seems like the search engine result pages have a very unstable result for Globalwarming Awareness2007 at the moment. While Google make smaller changes, Msn and Yahoo are having big problems to get a stable result. I can personally say that this is a proof of their weak algorithms and their bad ways of deliver the most reliable content to the user. Why should they put a website in the top ten (actually at the first place) and then an hour later move them to position no one will notice and then move them back and continue doing so hour after hour?

This was a very nice morning if we talk about Globalwarming Awareness2007. Yesterday we managed to go from 5th position in Google to the 2nd. Today we grabbed the 1st position in Google and I have to say I didn't expect this at all, at least not for a couple of weeks. It would be nice to go up in Msn again, since we have been ranked #1 there too. Yahoo on the other hand is great mystery for me. Nothing logical I do seem to affect our rankings there. This was the good news that only affects us but there is something that might interest you too…

I have to admit that we have been really bad on updating our content for Globalwarming Awareness2007. It seems like Google let other domains pass us at the moment. I'm not sure if it is our static content that is not updating our something else but we will see if we can grab a better position in the coming weeks for the search phrase Globalwarming Awareness2007.

I have successfully got my fever for this winter now and it doesn't feel good at all. I have no strength left to work and do anything "good" at all. As soon as I start concentrate I get this headache and I can't explain the feeling but it always make me do something else like watching a movie, playing computer games or just going to bed. So far the last week I have been doing nothing, but I guess that's understandable when someone has a fever. I thought I should mention that I (or actually we) will rank better soon again. As soon as I'm fit for fight I will focus on the #1 in Google for Globalwarming Awareness2007.

I have also been working on a script to sort out more domains by using whois information when the user registered the domain. This has been very successfully and I will implement this very soon. Then we will be able to get a 100% precise leader board for contest pages only.

This means that your actually rank in the search engine could be much higher than your rank here. I believe it's irrelevant to know the actually SERP rank in a contest like this. Yes, so I took 2 international SEO contest until a lot of users found out that 301 redirects is the best way to win a contest like Globalwarming Awareness2007. Of course there is nothing to do about it because a rule against it would be hard to check and then again it's acceptable according to Googles Guidelines, but should only be done to move a website and this is not the actually meaning in a contest. It's not how you would start off with a new website normally and shouldn't be done in a contest either like a lot seems to be doing in Globalwarming Awareness2007 contest.

I have been working all night long to complete the leader board for this contest. Of course it's not the official board but I believe it will give a much better result though. The script allows you to check all data for all domains as long as they have been in the top 500 results for Google, Yahoo or Msn. Each domain will also be validated by being checked against archive.org records. If the domain contains any history from 1996-2006, it will be automatically filtered out.

The amount of indexed pages in Google are increasing in a dramatically way. I'm now sure the contest for GlobalWarming Awareness2007 will be very tough. The amount of pages has now increased to 126,000 and you can see thousands of new pages after a few hours. I can't wait to see the results when the SERP is stable for Globalwarming Awareness2007. This contest is going to be very exciting.

This site has now been indexed and I'm glad to currently be ranked #24 at Google. I'm still waiting for Yahoo and Msn to index this site for "Globalwarming Awareness2007".

We can now see 56,200 hits in Google. It has increased with nearly 5 times since the first update. This site is still not indexed but bot has been here yesterday so my Globalwarming Awareness2007 site will hopefully be indexed with the next update. The strange thing is that websites that had a rank 3 before are now gone completly and can't be found in the SERP. We will have to wait a few weeks until we get a stable SERP for Globalwarming Awareness2007. I'm going to start building my own rank script for this contest since the real one is not perfect.

12,700 hits in Google for Globalwarming Awareness2007. Not bad for just one day and it seems like Google was really fast to gather and update the datacenters with the information. This site is not yet indexed for Globalwarming Awareness2007. I suspect it will be within a couple of days, probably at friday. I'm going to do some off page optimations now to spread the word about globalwarming with Globalwarming Awareness2007.
