From Homer
Specializing in guided bear viewing photography and flight seeing tours these private aircraft flights depart Homer taking you across the Cook Inlet into Katmai National Park. Flying over surfacing beluga whales, lush green valleys, active volcanoes, and massive glaciers, this 80 air-mile flight is one of the most scenic in the world. Flights arrive in Katmai National Park where the largest natural concentrations of Brown Bears in the world reside.
From King Salmon
The town of King Salmon is the major hub on the Alaska Peninsula for Katmai National Park. The famous Brooks River Falls located in Katmai National Park is 40 miles away from the town of King Salmon. Alaska Adventures offers bear viewing day trips via plane and jet boat into the heart of the park from King Salmon, Alaska. Enjoy a heated and covered jet boat tour across Naknek Lake in route to some of the best nature viewing in the state.
From Anchorage
Full day excursion begins in Anchorage and travel to Brooks Falls via sea plane. Board a Dehavilland Beaver and fly 2 ½ hours to Katmai National Park. If you have a couple extra days in Anchorage and want to see some bears then this trip is for you. Here you view these extraordinary giants as they grab, chase, and hurry, for the feisty salmon shooting up the rocky falls.
