Mr Carrington joined the Board in April 2003. He has over 25 years experience in the international telecommunications industry and was the founding Managing Director of BT Cellnet in 1983 subsequently becoming Chief Executive of all BT's mobile operations. He joined Cable and Wireless in 1989, and was Chief Executive of Regional Businesses for Cable and Wireless from 1993 to 1995.
Mr Christie joined the Board in March 1999 and is senior independent Non-Executive Director. He is Group Finance Director of Croda International PLC and is also Non-Executive Director of Cherry Valley Farm Limited. He was previously Finance Director of Northern Foods.
Mr Halbert joined the Board in September 2006. He was previously the founding President of Sprint Enterprise Mobility Incorporated, a subsidiary of Sprint-Nextel, the US telecommunications group. He has worked in the information technology industry for over thirty years. He spent the early part of his career with ICL, the UK's leading computer manufacturer. Following this he held a number of senior positions in the developing systems integration market. In 1990 he founded, and for the next thirteen years, was CEO of Syntegra, BT's global consulting and systems integration subsidiary.
