Campaign tracking tracks how many times a link was clicked to get to your site. Tracking clicks is different from tracking page views or visitors and needs to be done separately. This feature was primarily designed to help track pay per clicks. Pay per clicks are when you have to pay to put your link on someone's site and you pay every time someone clicks on that link. This can be set up using the Configure Campaigns page under Campaign Tracking in the Report Menu.
