The Royal Meteorological Society seeks applications for the post of Head of Education Services and Continuing Learning

This is a senior post within the Society that reports to the Chief Executive and is based at the Society’s Headquarters in Reading, Berkshire. It is a part-time post (the equivalent of 3 days per week) and the Society is happy to consider flexible working.

This is a busy hands-on role that requires someone with leadership skills, the ability to work well with senior professionals, good communication skills, competence with basic IT systems and software, a background in meteorology, and the ability to think creatively and embrace new ideas. It would also be valuable if candidates have a background in continuing learning and/or the education sector, and have successfully bid for external grant funding.

This post will be offered as a 3-year contract in the first instance, with an attractive salary, pension and benefits. Further details, together with a full job description and information about the Society, are available on request.
