Campaign Report
Spend smarter on your PPC, e-mail and custom campaigns
ClickTracks’ campaign report gives a quick look at how your Google, Yahoo! Search Marketing, or custom campaigns are performing. Direct API integration with Google and Yahoo! (Overture) pulls in your up-to-date PPC campaign information. Use landing pages or parameters to track online and offline campaigns such as print advertising, radio spots, banners, e-mail campaigns and any other marketing that brings visitors to your site. Spend smarter and determine campaign changes by looking at visitor information from the view of:
Number of clicks: How many clicks a particular campaign brought to your web site
Cost per click: How much, on average, you spent on luring a visitor to your web site.
Total cost: The entire cost for the campaign.

Time on site : Shows how long visitors from each campaign spent on your site, on average. This is a measurement of how effective your site is at holding on to visitors once
they have arrived. Where this number is low, you should consider what those visitors were looking for, and why they failed to find it on your site.
Short visits: Shows the percentage of visitors who spent less than five seconds on your site. This generally indicates that they reached the landing page but then left immediately. If this number is high, it indicates that something is wrong with your ad or with the landing page. Does the landing page deliver what the ad promised?
Number of purchases: The number of visitors who made a purchase or reached a goal page.
Total revenue: Shows the total revenue generated by visitors from each campaign. If you are using persistent cookie tracking, it measures the lifetime value of each visitor, including any purchases made on subsequent visits to the site.
Conversion rate: The number of visitors who purchase, divided by the total number of visitors from this campaign.
Return on Advertising Spend -- ROAS: The total revenue divided by the total cost. In other words, it is the amount of revenue generated for each dollar of expenditure on pay-per-click campaigns. This is perhaps the most important measure of whether an advertising campaign is successful or not, because it balances how much the campaign cost against how much revenue it generated.
Cost per order -- CPO: Shows the average revenue per visitor from each campaign. This shows which campaign brought your most valuable visitors, but you should also look at the cost of attracting those visitors.

Revenue per purchase: How much, on average, you earn per purchase.
Revenue per click: Shows the average revenue per click from each campaign. This shows which campaign brought your most valuable visitors, but you should also look at the cost of attracting those visitors.
Show and set bid rank: When coupled with Bid Hero PPC bid management system, ClickTracks allows adjustment of PPC bid ranks from within the Campaign Report.
NOTE: Features that count revenue require ClickTracks Pro, JDC or Agency editions.
ClickTracks Pro includes Click Fraud Reporting
ClickTracks Pro Click Fraud report pinpoints pay-per-click campaigns with statistically significant variances from other campaigns, whether they're the result of click fraud or just a poorly-performing ad that's eating up budget. ClickTracks' detection works by comparing a variety of statistical measurements across all campaigns. The Click Fraud report requires no additional setup, and allows you to substantiate suspicious campaign behavior by generating a report suitable for submission to the PPC provider.
Integrated Revenue Tracking
In addition to telling ClickTracks about your ad campaigns, you can also tell it how to recognize when a purchase has been made on your site. Although you can get some useful
information from configuring just the campaigns or just the revenue tracking, it is most powerful when both have been configured. If you also label groups of users, you can then balance the cost and expenditure for any group of users you choose to identify.
Support for Miva Merchant and Yahoo Stores are integrated directly into ClickTracks. ClickTracks has several ways to integrate with OS-Commerce and other custom shopping cart systems.
Integrated E-Mail Tracking
Integrated e-mail tracking is supported in CLickTracks Optimizer, Pro JDC, and agency editions. If you use SubscriberMail, IntelliContact, or other ESPs, you can use ClickTracks Campaign Report to track e-mail campaigns from the click through to the checkout. You can also generate and export targeted mailing lists based on your label criteria, then import them into your e-mail marketing system.
Export to PDF or Excel:ClickTracks makes it easy to generate reports that you, the rest of your team, clients and bosses understand. Easily export any of ClickTracks' reports to an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel file. |
