Inside Sales

Ethical / Professional Hacker Penetration Tester
Do you have a passion for security? Are you seeking an opportunity where you can build on your knowledge of security? We are looking for an Ethical/Professional Hacker with experience in network security products and/or penetration testing.
Skills
- Vulnerability scanning experience with tools like Nessus, eEye Retina, ISS Security Scanner Experience with port scanners like discovery as well as vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus.
- Experience with Apache, IIS, Netscape and Sun web servers and web application development.
- Understanding of SQL-Injection, Cross-site-scripting, and other web application vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, RPC, SSL, SSH, SMTP and SNMP.
- Understanding of Operating Systems such as Unix, Linux and Windows.
- Understanding of Firewalls, Intrusion detection system (IDS), Intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Past experience with network security products or penetration testing is highly desirable.
- Network or security related certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CCNP highly desirable.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in network and systems administration.
- Experience with wide variety of hardware, operating systems, and network architectures.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills with basic IP protocols. Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, server/client configuration, TCP/IP networking hardware, protocols, LAN and WAN technologies, and web security architectures.
- Must be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be proactive with customer issues.
Additional Pluses:
- Experience with network security tools such as discovery, Ethereal, Snort, Netcat, Nessus, Nikto, Tripwire

ScanAlert is currently seeking a Security Advisor in our Napa office. This person will be responsible for setting up clients account and up sell our HACKER SAFE certification.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities will be to help our clients to setup their account after they signed up with our quarterly service and up sell our HACKER SAFE certification.
- Prospect and Identify potential clients through cold-calling and networking
- Client maintenance, customer service, sales administrative duties
Our ideal candidate will possess experience developing both client and agency relationships. Preference will be given to those candidates who have previous experience up selling products or services and can demonstrate a history of successful client relationship management and more importantly, new client development and account growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of telephone sales experience
- Proven success in previous sales positions
- Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment
- Excellent communication and time management.
