Jason Nugent and Randy Kashat caught 5 shibi and 5 aku for an action packed day
|
We rolled out at 5:30 on this day of 25 kph trades going to my new favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and Scot hooked a nice shibi and Randy landed a nice one. Next few passes we lost a few, so we jigged and caught some small aku. When Scot baited again he hooked another big shibi and Jason pumped up a nice shibi. A few more aku and Scot gets a few more shibi on and they come aboard. These guys did a real good job on all these fish today, it was a wild ride today, and we had to cancel our saturday charter due to a topicalstorm passing close. In the harbor only Jason had what it takes to eat a shibi eyeball gladly, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

A Note To Our Valued Customers
Communication is vital to the success of your big game fishing charter.
Charter check-in Captain Rusty
|
Two things you need to do:
1. When you arrive on the island, give us a contact phone number, where you can be reached.
2. Contact us the afternoon before your scheduled charter.
We start preparing the boat for your charter the prior evening. The morning of your charter,
we start getting the boat ready at 3:00 AM. It would be nice to know if you will be showing up. If you don't
call, we won't prepare the boat since this involves perishables.
We constantly track the weather. It is crucial to keep informed of the forecasted conditions
and other possible changes that can come up. Call us the day before to make sure the ocean conditions
are favorable and we are all set to go.
We need to set a starting time so we know when to expect you at the dock. In addition,
I need to be sure no bananas are smuggled aboard.
We want to show you the best Hawaii deep sea fishing has to offer. A little communication
goes a long ways to making things run well.
Aloha Capt Rusty
