How and Why Should I Erase Local Traces of My Web Travels?
Your computer automatically records your Web travels or "history" on a "cache." This cache feature allows you to use the "Back" button and make previously visited Web sites appear more quickly. If you don't want others to see where you've been surfing, you can erase the local traces of your browsing by changing the settings in your browser. GetNetWise provides video tutorials showing you a step-by-step approach to deleting your footprints on the Web. Select the Web browser you are currently using to learn how to do this.
