CASA DULCE  Orgiva

This holiday home is about 3 km away from Orgiva, the main village of the Alpujarras, and approximately 40 minutes drive away from the Costa Tropical and Granada. It is a south facing villa, situated in the Orgiva valley, with wide open views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. Casa Dulce consists of a white washed bungalow with a well kept, enclosed garden and an attractive swimming pool with outdoor shower, various terraces and a barbecue. The owners are local to the area and live in the nearby village where they are on hand to welcome their guests personally as well as look after their property.

One particular attraction of this property is the large private swimming pool (8x5m), situated next to vine-covered terraces and in a position of complete seclusion. Both terraces have garden furniture and deck chairs. There is also another terrace facing the valley which offers full sun and amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The bungalow itself comprises 3 bedrooms, a lounge with open-plan kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The building is accessed from the north side (parking area) into the lounge, where a hallway leads on to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The back door leads out to the south facing terraces and the pool. The lounge has an open fireplace, satellite TV, compact disc player and radio-cassette. It is, overall, a well-equipped holiday home in an idyllic location.

Casa Dulce is accessed by a well kept track (approx 400m) off the main road with parking space in front of the house and inside completely fenced in mansion. Orgiva is 5 minute's drive away and is a good place for shopping, bars, restaurants, banks and medical supplies. There is also a lively market every Thursday. Day trips to Lanjaron (10 mins), Granada (50 mins) or the coast (40 mins) are easily accessible, as are the white washed Alpujarran villages of Pampaneira, Bubion and Capileira (15-25 mins). From November to the end of April, visits to the Sierra Nevada ski resorts are also an enjoyable option.
