The hospital enjoys an excellent reputation in the community with an active medical staff of 32 and a courtesy staff of about the same number. Among the medical staff, there are seven board-certified emergency room physicians who provide 7-day, 24-hour coverage

The Independent Living Center
The Independent Living Center is a private nonprofit organization that is governed by persons experiencing disabilities. The ILC provides a wide range of services for people and families who experience disabilities and live on the Kenai Peninsula, Kodiak Island, or the Aleutian Islands. The goal of the Independent Living Center is to assist individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in their homes and communities.
