Coverage Areas in Skiing Insurance
Always ensure your insurance policy gives you
adequate medical coverage. You may want to consider
some of the areas covered below as these are
the major points of coverage in most ski insurance
policies.
Be aware that most ski insurance policies
carry restrictions for coverage based on your
responsibility level – knowingly putting
yourself at risk by skiing in roped off territory,
skiing or riding whilst intoxicated may negate
some of your ski insurance cover.
Our Winter Sports policy provides you with
excellent cover for skiing and snowboarding
holidays. You are covered to ski off piste within
the resort, but outside the resort you must
be with a guide. The policy gives you full medical
cover including mountain rescue by helicopter
if deemed medically necessary. It will also
cover you for loss or theft of your ski equipment.
