Corporate Giving
GCI has long been a major contributor to dozens of organizations and charities throughout the state. Although we are perhaps best known as a major sponsor of the Iditarod Trail sled dog race, GCI's corporate giving extends throughout the state to support many worthy causes. 
GCI's Corporate Contribution Program manages GCI's philanthropic investments to qualified, not-for-profit organizations in Alaska. GCI believes that as a corporate citizen, it is our responsibility to support worthwhile charities and organizations which contribute to the quality of life for all Alaskans.
GCI also supports employees becoming involved in community service. Each employee may take two days per year for community service to an organization that is a recognized non-profit or charitable organization. In this way, employees can support issues or causes which are important to them.
