Alaska Cruise Lines

The 2005 Alaska Cruise schedule begins in May and extends until early October.  Repositioning cruises from Vancouver to Hawaii and from Vancouver to Los Angeles begin in September.  Ships leave every day or two with a total of ten to twelve sailings per week.  The Alaska cruise is typically seven days in duration.

Popular ports of call on the Vancouver-Alaska run include the following:

  1. Ketchikan

  2. Juneau

  3. Skagway

  4. Sitka

  5. Glacier Bay

  6. Anchorage

  7. Cook Inlet

  8. Denali National Park (Mt. McKinley)

  9. Prince William Sound

Inside Passage, British Columbia

The Inland Passage is protected from the open ocean by Vancouver Island.  The waters are therefore normally calm and the scenery is spectacular!
